A wonderful example of RPG gaming on the PS2, "Dark Cloud" promises hours upon hours of addictive gameplay, proving one title hard to put down even for the not-so diehard RPG gamer.

The process of building and customizing not only your characters and weapons, but the many villages you visit, makes for some great gameplay. I would however in a second trade the ability to name your characters for some actual speech during the gameplay and story segments, instead of the existing world balloons.

Overall, great gameplay and replay value are huge highlights that make Dark Cloud a solid gaming experience well worth checking out.
