Impressive, but hardly spectacular, "Formula One 2001" delivers some high speed racing action for the PS2. For fans of the formula, this game is sure to please, but personally unlocking the formula racers in Grand Turismo is although not a true formula experience, a far more powerful gaming experience.

Do not be quick to dismiss this game though, for if formula is what you are after, Formula One 2001 certainly delivers.
