Our home was built in 1991. It was designed with big windows to let a maximum of light in.

   On the ground floor, we have a living/eating room with a fireplace and hifi equipment. From this room, we have a nice view on the lake of Murten (to the north) and on the pond (to the south-east). The pond is built next to the house and has a wooden platform directly accessible from the living room.

   On the same floor, we have further the house entrance, a modern kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, grill), the bedroom of the parents with an en-suite bathroom.

   On the first floor, you will find 3 child's bedrooms, a bathroom, a room with PC and a library corner opposite to the gallery.

   In the basement, we have a cellar, a W.C, a laundry room with clothes washer and dryer, a room for ironing and a playroom/family room with satellite TV (some channels in english like CNN, BBC, ..), video cassette recorder, zone free DVD and a babyfoot.

   Outside, the garden is about 600 square meters and quite interesting (at least, for someone who likes plants). I have planted more than hundred different types of bamboos, more than 25 maples and numerous other plants.

   From the living room, you have direct access (southeast) to a wooden platform, which lies over the pond, on which you can have a drink or meal. In the pond, about 15 Japanese carps (Kois) are swimming. From the kitchen (southwest), you can access the terrace/patio.

   The Kois can stay without eating a month, even in summer. If you want to feed them (which I enjoy doing), the filters must be washed once a week (opening some valves), this could also be arranged with my neighbour.
