Gardening Experience

2002 - 2004: Part time gardening in Manhattan and Long Island. Perennial bed preparation, planting/transplanting of perennials, annuals, small shrubs, and bulbs, weeding, mulching, dead heading, cleaning / maintenance

2002 - present: Volunteer gardener at The New York and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Did pruning, planting, mulching, extensive weeding, dead heading and general maintenance work

2002 - 2004: Took "Fundamentals of Gardening 1 and 2" "Gardening for Beginners" "How, When and Where of Pruning" through New York Botanical Garden's Continuing Education program
