The former Dejazmach Wube Neighborhood Residents' Association in Washington Metropolitan Area was established on April 13, 1997 in Spring Field, Virginia.
One of the main reasons of the establishment of this association was based on the fact that there are a large number of former residents of this neighborhood in Northern America, specifically in Washington Metropolitan Area. By forming this association, we, the former residents, will have the opportunity to get close to one another at the time of happiness or sadness. The third reason is to extend the existing family oriented association that is located back in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and also to form a link between the two without geographical related problem. Last but not the least, to keep the spirit of this great neighborhood and pass it on to our children in the future.
The Former Dejazmach Wube association has both short and long term goals
The association membership is open for all interested Ethiopians who resided in this area back home, accepts the rules, regulations and also fulfills the association's membership requirements. A preregistration form is available for parties who would like to enroll in the former Dejazmach Wube Neighborhood Residents' Association in North America.
