"Smile . . . It gives your face something to do, and makes everyone wonder what you've been up to" | After High School I went to beauty school at ISU. I worked in Sun Valley for a short time, then moved to Washington were I met my husband John. Our oldest daughter Kimber age 13, was born there. Our three other children, Kasey age 10, Koty age 9, and Kira age 8, were all born in Blackfoot. We now live in Pocatello. John is an electrician. He works mostly on agriculture stuff (pumps and pivots) so he works all over this part of the state. I am basically a stay at home mom. I have dedicated a lot of time to my children's school volunteering in their classes and working there part time in the office,as well as a reading aid for several teachers. I have served as PTA Vise President, President and other jobs in the PTA. My husband and I stay busy serving in our church. He is currently in the bishopric and I am Cub Master for my sons cub scout group. I have served in the Relief Society and Primary Presidencies, and Young Womens President. We like to entertain and have friends over whenever we can. My girls are busy playing the violin, piano and babysitting. My son is into all kinds of sports but prefers wrestling. He also is learning to play the piano. When I find a free moment I like to cook, sew, quilt, do crafts, but most of all scrapbook. | Lives

"Please forgive my nonsense, as I forgive the nonsense of those who think they speak sense" | After
graduating high school, I attended Idaho State University, where I was
active in the music program, theater, and student government. I served
as Student Body President in 1987-88. I received a Bachelor's of Music
Education Degree in the summer of 1992. In the summer of 88, I took a job as a singing waiter at Black Barts Steakhouse in Flagstaff, AZ, and will say to this day that it is the best job I've ever had. I waited tables and performed there for 4 years. I got my first teaching job in Yuma, AZ at Kofa High School, where I taught Choir. In the spring of 1993, I was a finalist for the "Yuma County Rookie Teacher of the Year" award (I lost to a cheerleader). I taught there for four years, where I taught choir, directed the Jazz Choir, directed three musicals, and assisted with the marching band. In 1996, I moved to Santa Clarita, CA (home of Magic Mountain Amusement Park), where I again taught choir at Valencia High School for two years. In 1998, I became the music teacher at El Cajon Valley High School, in El Cajon, CA, located just East of San Diego. I took over at a school that had completely eliminated its music program for 8 years, so I was basically starting from scratch. At ECV, I teach Concert and Marching Band, Choir, and AP Music Theory. I've also been the music director for two musicals, and have served as Stage Manager and Technical Director for three years for "Faculty Follies", and faculty talent show that raises money for scholarships. I serve as Performing Arts Department Chair, and serve on the District Curriculum Council, Performing Arts Council, and Professional Advancement Committee. I married my lovely wife Caralyn in July of 1993, in Yuma, where the temperature was 118 the day we were married. She is an Elementary teacher, and is currently teaching First Grade at Faith Christian School. We have two cats, Pepper and Mr. Salty. We are both currently working on Master's Degrees in Education. For fun, we enjoy being tourists around San Diego, especially the San Diego Zoo, and make frequent trips to Disneyland. |

"The Greatest Pleasure in life comes from doing that which others say you cannot do". | I went to Ricks College and received an AA in Office Management. I moved to Provo Utah and worked at Hansen Insulation. There I met my husband, who served a mission with my cousin in Sydney Australia. We were married in 1989 and moved to Livermore, CA, where we lived for 1-1/2 years. I worked as a program manager for Corporate Sign Systems, Inc. during our time there. We moved to Fairfield CA in 1990 and have lived there since. We have 5 children; Lashele (12), J.T. (10), Sabrina (7), Hunter (4) and Tanner (almost 1). I enjoy staying at home and being a mom. We are always busy! | Lives
