| NEWS FLASH!!!!!!! In a long awaited moment of triumph, Hull based band Saloon (they're amazing) were finally awarded the illustrious "Band Of Wonderment" award for their services to blind dyslexic orphans in their home town of Truro, Cornwall. Princess Sofia of Monaco presented the award at their home-based "super studio", a converted fire station that also doubles as a museum dedicated to the Colossus of Rhodes. Mike said "it was great to see Sofie again, we're using her her as a guest rapper on our new single "When Dogs Go Bad". Its great, buy it. Now." Synth player Alison Cotton (Son of Dott, off Eastenders) said, "its good to be able to help the little people, I used to be one before I hit the pop big time" |

| Bavaria's answer to Ska genious' Save Ferris, recently finished their sell-out tour of Finland despite the band being plagued with explosive herpes. The band have been promoting their new album "Suck my Fisch" which features collaborations with Jason Donovan, Cuba Gooding Jr and Columbo. They're not stopping there though- you can expect them to be touring Britain early next year, but get you're tickets early as thier performance at Tamwerth community centre was a sell out!Venues rumoured to be scheduled include Berwick-upon-Tweed Labour Exchange and Preston Gasworks.Rumours that 3 time bavarian beat-box champion Hans Glutner is to leave the band are unsubstanciated, despite the success of his solo career (check out: "Vorkuhnt Zwachter Sieben") |
