COMPANY HISTORY In 1975, Eleazar M. Aragon and his wife established E. M. Aragon Enterprises (EMAE) in Bacoor, Cavite. They first began with the trading of cars and trucks which later led to hauling and delivery of construction materials and aggregates from batching plants to government project sites. Two years later the trucking and dealership business blossomed into a small construction company with a category D license. Eventually, E. M. Aragon Enterprises was able to acquire additional heavy equipment and dump trucks in response to the increase of construction activities in Cavite. The turning point for EMAE came in 1981 during the construction of the Carmona Resettlement Access Road Project. EMAE grossed a considerable amount of 12 million pesos. Because of EMAE's commitment to quality construction and related services, government and private projects started to come in. EMAE was contracted for the construction, widening, rehabilitation and maintenance of the new and existing roads and bridges. This enabled EMAE to obtain a "AAA" license as a contractor. In 1993, EM Aragon Enterprises helped establish S. Aragon Realty and Development Corporation (S.A.R.D.C) a sister company that focuses on real estate development. |
