So, you may be wondering (or you may not, but hey) who I, the author of this site, is.

Well, my Yahoo screen name is raven_mavin which is what I call myself on the net in general. My real name is Emma Mavin.

I'm 20, and a student. I've written poetry for some years (and my earlier stuff is now online) -- and I recently realised that pretty much all of my poems are about death. Which is a little depressing. I promise - I'm not that depressing in person! Look for me sometime on Yahoo and see.

I like reading poetry a lot too - which is why this is not just a showcase for my (somewhat doubtful) talent, but also for other people. I'm also going to put up some of the poems I like the best (because of copyright, only ones which are out of copyright) on the site.
