The group meets for the second time for its monthly meeting. 15 people are present (more than double the number
of people at the last meeting) with several appologies for non attendees. Outcomes of the meeting include:
A petition is drawn up to ask the Gawler Council to provide gallery space for local artists to
display/perform and sell their work. This space would be mannaged by the co-operative.
To continue pursuing the possibilty of using the Gawler court house as a gallery space. Some other
alternative buildings that the group will look into include the Station Master's House and the Institute in Murray Street.
The group moves to formalise its structure into a legal community body. A sample constitution is handed
out for memebers to comment upon and revise ready for the next meeting in August when it is planned for committee members to be voted in.
Further discussion for an exhibition of group members work was had with a proposed time frame being for an
exhibition around the end of October at the Eagle Foundry. The final date should be known by the August meeting.
