Welcome to the EWC Webpage.  The EWC
(short for Elite Wrestling Council) is one of the oldest
existing leagues in the Summit Wrestling Alliance. 
This is the second genesis of the league, and we're excited about what we've done to date and what we plan to do.

We are always on the lookout for quality roleplayers to join EWC.  There are some things you should know first.

1) PLEASE look through the site in its entirety, *including* the rosters and at least some of the cards.  It will give you an idea of what the EWC is all about.

2) The EWC is a simmed play-by-email game.  This means that although angles can be planned by the players, all match results are randomized using the SCREW rules system.  To read more about SCREW, go here.  Also, all roleplays are done as part of the cards...we don't have message boards or the like.

3) We have no set number of faces/heels, no set number of light-heavyweights to heavyweights, etc.  We look for quality roleplayers.


4)  Here is a list of things that, if you ignore them  in your character submission, will cause your character to be completely and utterly ignored by me.  If you are serious about playing in the EWC, do your best to remember these guidlines  in your submission. Again, TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS so that your character idea has a better chance of being accepted.

Beyond that, be creative, but be realistic.  For your promo, a situation is provided below so that you don't have to go in cold...build on the idea below, but remember,
IF THERE IS NO PROMO, IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!

SAMPLE PROMO: (Write it below)
IF YOU SUBMIT A FACE:
Your character was jumped last week by the heel stable known as
Star Power (see the Roster page for their information).  This week, you have a match
for the one of the three World Titles (depending on your submission..if you're submitting a
tag team, it's the World Tag titles - if you're submitting a LH, it's the World LH title, etc)
against one or more members of Star Power.  From there, use your imagination as to
who you're fighting, what they did to you last week, etc.  

IF YOU SUBMIT A HEEL:
Last week, you ran over the EWC World (Heavy, LH, or Tag, depending
on your submission) Champion(s) with a car in the parking lot.  This week, you have a shot
at the title.  Use the promo to explain your actions (for heels, its usually best to either
deny or justify the incident) and tell the world why you will become the champ tonight.
Pick any cooresponding face from the Roster page to use as the champ for this situation.

In both of the above cases, the interview must be in ring.  The interviewer to use is Isaac
Cross, who is a Jim Ross-esque ring announcer in that he's complimentary towards faces and indignant towards heels.  Write him accordingly in your promo.
