PancakesFall Pancake Breakfast

The annual fall Pancake Breakfast was held November 21, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. at Bob Sikes Airport in Crestview.  It was a resounding success withover 40 people in attendance.  Many members showed up early to help with setup and get breakfast started.

Tables were set up in the main FBO hangar and breakfast was prepared by the usual list of suspects.  Pancakes were cooked by Bill Tuttle and Dick Pollien on the chapter's giant griddle.  Richard Sohn cooked sausage.  Says Richard, "I don't know how to cook anything else!"

An invitation was extended to the Eglin AFB controllers to attend the breakfast and receive an airplane ride.  About a half dozen controllers took us up on the offer and had breakfast and a plane ride on us.  Although he provided several rides in his RV-6, Cliff Nunnery was disappointed that no one showed up to take his picture for the paper.  (Maybe slip the reporter more money next time, Cliff
