![]() Bill Tuttle (right) answers questions about his Kestrel Hawk from Brandon
Foster, 11, Brian Starr, 15, and Zachary Styer, 8, at Bob Sikes Airport
in Crestview Saturday morning. Tuttle is a member of the Experimental
Aircraft Association, a national organization of small aircraft owners.
One of the group's goals is to get youth interested in aviation through
a program called Young Eagles. The aviation enthusiasts hope to give
rides to 1 million children by the year 2003. The local chapter of
the EAA had planned on taking kids up from Bob Sikes Airport Saturday,
but the event was cut short by rain. It has been rescheduled for
next Saturday.
