This model plan provides suggestions and guidelines for creating a sex offender, sex addict or sexual abuser's Relapse Prevention Plan to eliminate victimizing behaviors. Many have successfully written and are living their own Relapse Prevention Plans and have ceased victimizing.

Be warned however, that simply scoring well on the suggested quizzes and following the suggestions and guidelines are not guarantees of success. Each offender will find this is but a road map, and must choose their own paths based upon personal circumstances. Personal circumstances will dictate which portion/s of this Model Plan should be included in an offender's personal plan.

The metaphor of learning to drive is a good one: knowing all the facts, rules and mechanics of the manual, how far to park from a fire hydrant, how long to brake on a rainy day does not make you a good driver. Like learning to drive, learning to Stop Victimizing is largely a matter of learning from others and, more than anything else, practicing in a safe place until you can operate with skill and confidence.

In other words, it takes following the model plan in creating a personal plan, then living that LifeAfter Management Plan, and as time passes the plan will become second nature to you. You will be putting into play all parts of your plan automatically without thinking about it, then, the result can only be, no more victims!

The authors, and contributors to, this Relapse Prevention Plan Guide have done their best to provide current, reliable information for offenders. However, the authors and contributors are not responsible for offenders nor their actions, nor any offender's written plan.
