Travel

Since the band is a part of the entire school system, we will operate within the rules set down by the school district with a few additions of our own. A student may return from a football game with his parents (NOT with grandparents, other relatives, or other student's parents). At the END of the game(or other event), his/her parent must come to the head chaperone and personally take the child. The parent also signs a release form at that time. All band members will travel TO out- of- town ball games and other events on the band buses.

No external speaker radios, stereos or ice chests are permitted on the buses. Respect for chaperones is expected from all band members. Disrespect or not obeying the instructions of chaperones will result in penalties being issued to the student. All school rules apply when traveling with the band.

Bus Rules

1. There should be at least two adult chaperones per bus. Show common respect and courtesy to your chaperones. Remember they are voluntering their time for your benifit.

11. Upon arrival at a destination, students are to stay seated until given permission from the director or head chaperone.

12. At the conclusion of the trip, all students need to clean their areas of the bus.

13. If a student chooses to not follow the above trip rules they will be left at the nearest police station. From there they will call their parents to come pick them up.
