Uniform Checkout Procedures: -





1. This year uniforms will be sized the first week of
school. All students must have a uniform before the Labor Day
Parade.
2. No uniforms will be issued without payment or fees. Refer to
the purchase
guide for the total amount. Also, students who owe any fees
from last year will not receive a new one until they are
cleared.
3. When marching season is over, for students new to the high
school band program, girls will need to be assigned an official
concert dress and tux shirt, and boys will need to be assigned a
tux shirt and tux pants. Shoes are the responsibility of the
student
4. Girls must wear panty hose and BLACK "PUMPS" (shoes), not
boots or different style shoes, with their dresses. Boys must wear
BLACK socks and SOLID BLACK dress shoes. Ties, coats, etc. will
remain ON until directors instruct otherwise.
5. All students and parents must sign a UNIFORM
CONTRACT within a week of being assigned the uniform.

Care
of the Uniform:


1. Students will be held FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE for any lost
or damaged items. (See the Uniform
Contract) Simple repairs will help prolong the life of the
uniform. An band uniform should NEVER BE LEFT OVERNIGHT IN THE
BAND ROOM except with the permission of a Director.
2. Please dry clean uniforms if needed, especially the pants,
if ever need be in between turn-in times. White shoes must be
cleaned before every performance.
3. Keep gloves white. They should be cleaned after each
game.
4. All students must wear the show T-Shirt under their band ja
ckets. and a plain white T-Shirt under their white blouses. This
protects the uniform fabric from perspiration, and the colors of
the shirts blend with the uniform should the shirt show during a
performance.
5. DRY CLEAN ONLY all uniform tops. The uniform bottoms may be
washed in cold water AFTER talking to a vetern band parent about
this procedure. If unsure of how to clean - TAKE IT TO THE DRY
CLEANERS.
6. Quantlets may be cleaned in warm water and line dried.
7. Remove dirt from raincoats by allowing mud to dry, then
briskly brushing with stiff brush.
8. Hats may be spruced up by wiping with a damp cloth or mild
soap.
9. Make sure all buttons are sewn on before leaving home.
