Kielac Hold
G'rin watched as the greens and blues flew around the bowl in short wobbly flights. Suddenly he frowned. "Ajantith, bank right!" he yelled, and the azure weyrling awkwardly tucked his wings and turned to his right. One of the greens lost her balance and went hurtling towards the ground. If G'rin hadn't called out, she and Ajantith would have colided rather painfully. The green manages to get her wings back under control before she got too close to the ground.

AjantithThat was close. Ajantith said, coming to a jerky stop near G'rin and the other weyrling riders. How long until we can fly together? the blue asked.

"As soon as you can take off and land smoothly enough to satisfy Weyrlingmaster C'gall." G'rin replied, scratching an itchy spot for his yet growing dragon bond.

I will practice more. Ajantith promised, flaring his wings slightly.

"Good idea." G'rin said, giving the blue a pat.

Someone nearby caled to him. "How'd you know to tell Ajantith to turn? That green hadn't even begun to fall yet!"

G'rin flushed. "Lucky guess?" he offered, hoping they wouldn't press the matter.

"If you say so." they said, then left the weyrlings to their flight practice.

It would only be a matter of time before someone found out the truth...
