The 2009 season marked the first full season the Topeka Golden Giants called the ballpark at Lake Shawnee home.

The park features a field turf infield and foul lines; natural grass outfield with large warning tracks and field dimensions of 330’(Left) 400’(Center) 320’(Right).

In 2010, there will be some exciting changes to the appearance of the ballpark at Lake Shawnee. The Golden Giants and Shawnee County Parks and Rec are finalizing plans to add many more ammenities to this already state-of-the-art facility.

Plans call for covered seating, additional seats, a beer garden, closer concessions, closer restrooms and much more.

Stay tuned for further updates on the new and improved ballpark at Lake Shawnee.

The ballpark is located near Northeast corner of Lake Shawnee (29th and Croco Road), easily accessible from I-70.

For those traveling from out-of-town, you can find retail shopping, hotels and restaurants all within 5 miles of the ballpark.
