I entered the University of California at Irvine as a Biological Sciences student in the Fall of '83. This was also the first quarter that my radio show, GENERIC RADIO aired on KUCI , where I had a punk/hardcore show with a dab o' ska. I worked full-time while I was at UCI, so it took me nine years to graduate. I officially left the University with degrees in Political Science and Social Ecology.
Sometime during the late 80's I also attended the University of California at Santa Barbara on the Intercampus Visitor Program. Even though I lived with a bunch of scumbies from my high school (plus a scumby from Stockton), this was a very fun quarter.
Shortly after graduating, I started working at UCI. After about four years, while still working at UCI, I went back to school part-time in the spring of '97. I earned my Multiple Subject Credential (preliminary) from Cal State Fullerton. Currently I hold a "clear" Credential.
I am a 4th grade classroom teacher in the same district that I attended as a kid. In fact, three of my teachers STILL teach here!
