:: October 1996 :: Trained Our Teachers (TOT) Program - The first ever activity of the club was the TOT (Trained Our Teachers) program, jointly organized by IDESS of NSU and CIDA. The goal of the program was to increase environmental awareness program for both teachers and students of two primary schools in two different villages. There the club also arranged a tree plantation program.
:: June 1997 :: Awareness campaign in Bhancharampur, Brahmanbaria - As an environment awareness build-up program in Bhancharampur. Visited schools and talked to the local habitats.
:: July 1997 :: Trip to Magurchara, Sylhet - Visited the gas field explosion site. Talked to local agencies and experts.
:: December 1997 :: Trip to Inani, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Teknaf - As a part of the ecology study program.
:: May 1998 :: Seminar on Environmental Management - Arranged a short seminar on China and environmental management.
:: November 1998 :: Trip to National Botanical Garden - An educational field trip and general meeting were held at Botanical Garden, Dhaka on November 6, 1998. At the Garden, a short guided tour, and discussion session were organized.
:: December 1998 :: Eco Tour to Sylhet - A nature study tour to Sylhet was organized from December 3 to December 5, 1998. There were 34 members participated at the tour. During the trip, Lawachara National Park, Magurchara Explosion Site, a local Tea State, and Madhobkunda Water Fall were visited.
:: March 1999 :: Seminar - Earth Club organized a seminar on March 9, 1999 from 1600 hrs. to 1700 hrs. at BTA 100 of North South University. Mr. Raquibul Amin of IUCN presented a paper on Wetlands of the North Eastern Region of Bangladesh at the seminar. The club also made a multimedia presentation to trained the general members on environmental issues in Bangladesh.
:: June 1999 :: World Environment Day - Earth Club organized a stall at the Environment Fair organized by the Department of Environment at Osmani Milanayatan on Saturday, June 5, 1999 to celebrate the last World Environment Day of the millennium. The club presented educational displays and multimedia presentations on environmental issues. Earth Club also arranged a seminar on Religion, Ethics and Environment on June 7, 1999 at the university premises. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Hafiz G. A. Siddiqui, VC, NSU.
:: June 2000 :: Photography Exhibition - A photography exhibition by renowned environmental photographer Mr. Enam Ul Haque, was organized by Earth Club to celebrate the World Environment Day 2000. The exhibition was held on June 6 to June 8, 2000 from 1000 hrs. to 1700 hrs. at BTA 100, North South University.
:: March 2001 :: Earth Corner - Earth Club lunched the Earth COrner in the lobby of Sher Plaza, North South University where various articles, news, essays and cartoons have been displayed. This permanent land mark has been designed using locally available canes, bamboos and sheetal pati.
:: May - June 2001 :: Eco Tour to Lawachara National Forest, Sylhet - The eco-tour was arranged under the program of nature and biodiversity study of the Earth Club.
:: May 2001 :: nsu Green Reflection, Summer 2001 - The first issue of Earth Club newsletter was published.
:: December 2001 :: International Eco Tour to India - Earth Club arranged an international eco-tour to India, from December 29th, 2001 to January 15, 2002. A group of 32 members of the club including two faculty members and the Director Administration and Logistics (NSU) were visited several archeological and environmentally important places in India.
:: March 2002 :: Succession Ceremony and AGM, Zia Fertilizer Company Ltd. - There were 38 Earth Club members along with 2 faculty members (Mr. Khalid M Khan & Mr. Ashiqur Rahman) visited Zia Fertilizer Company Ltd. Ashugonj to observe the environmental management system and state-of-art water treatment plant. Annual General Meeting of the club also held in the conference room of the administrative building, ZFCL. At the AGM, the new executive committee for 2002-2003 formally took the charge of the club.
:: July 2002 :: Solid Waste Management Program in NSU - Earth Club successfully organized a cleanliness program and implement efficient solid waste management program in the NSU campus.
:: January 2003 :: Club Fair - Earth Club successfully participated in the Club Fair on January 30 & January 31, 2003, organized by North South University on the occasion of 10th foundation anniversary of NSU at Bashundhara campus.
:: April 2003 :: Environmental Awareness and Cleanup campaign at Bandarbans Hill Tracts - Earth Club in association with The Guide Tours Limited arranged an environmental awareness and cleanup campaign at Hill Side Resort, Miloncharri and Shailopropat from April 26 to May 1, 2003. There were 31 members of the club participated in the program. An open discussion session was also arranged on April 28, 2003 at Shailopropat premises to discuss the environmental management system of the place. The participants of that discussion session were Hola Shing Nu (E.D., BNKS), Oboni Nath Thakur (D.F.O, Bandarbans), Rajesh Chakma (Forest Officer, Bandarbans), Osman Gani (Presiden, Bandarbans Press Club), Milon Chakraborti (Journalist), Masum (Journalist), Omol Kanti Bishwash (Local Teacher), Kharshim (Headman, Bawm), Shimona Quazi (Lecturer, NSU), Hasan Monsur (MD, The Guide Tours Limited), Hasan Mahamud Khokon (Director, Hill Side Resort), earth club members and the local villagers. The subject of the discussion was the impacts of tourists on the local population and environment. After the discussion the club members cleaned up the Shailopropat premises. However, the club also arranged a workshop on solid waste management for the employees of the Hill Side Resort.
:: May 2003:: nsu Green Reflection - Earth Club has published the second issue (Summer 2003) of Earth Club newsletter.
:: June 2003:: World Environment Day - Earth Club successfully participated in the World Environment Day Fair 2003 on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2003 at Osmani Memorial Hall, arranged by the Department of Environment (DOE), Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
