Introduction
At 1,013,572 acres, Glacier Park is one of America's largest national parks. The park is along the backbone
of North America - the continental divide. On one side of the divide, a drop of rain landing
on the east will flow eastward to the Atlantic. On the other side, a drop of rain landing on the west
will makes it's way to the Pacific. The park is very mountainous and contains many beautiful
lakes and glacier morraines which were created during the Ice Age by retreating glaciers.
The following pictures are good examples of the park's many lakes and mountains.
