Our Home Away From Home
In March of 1999, our Suburban was getting to the point where we couldn't depend on it to tow our 30' Terry trailer on long trips away from home. A new Motorhome was the answer. This is our 30' Hurricane. We tow our Saturn behind it.
Tracks To Mexico.
33 days from El Paso Texas to San Diego California by road south to the Chihuahua, Mexico rail head. Then on to a flatcar, then slowly by train, traveling only by daylight while living in our rigs for four days across the Copper Canyon of Mexico to the eastern shore of the Sea of Cortez. Then by road south to Mazatlan for a week, then across the Sea of Cortez to La Paz, then by road to Cabo St. Lucas. After a week down at the point of Baja, up the peninsula, 1,000 miles to San Diego.
Our rig on the flatcar. Cocktail time on the flat car with Hank and Flo Haskin

Road Runners come right up to the door of our trailer. The attraction is small bits of raw meat of any kind.
