This will allow Edgemont Basketball the time and finances to have the program ready at the
beginning of September.  Gyms booked, equipment upgraded, evaluations set, etc. 

Space on teams is limited, so make sure you get your children registered to avoid disappointment.
 

                                        If a player wants to play outside their home community, they must first
                                        register in their home community and request a transfer from their home
                                        community. They can then register with the outside community, where they
                                        will be accepted based on available space in their program.

FEES:    6 - 8 years old         $ 110.00
                9 - 18 years old       $260.00 

                 Uniform deposit     $  60.00   (post dated check March 31 , 2006, one per player)
                                                                       (uniform deposits are only cashed if the
                                                                            uniform is not returned at the end of the season)

                  For families with three or more children, the third and subsequent children will
                       pay only $150.00 for registration.

 WHAT TO BRING TO REGISTRATION:
               1. plenty of checks 

               2. Proof of age;  photocopy of birth certificate, Alberta health card card, or other.
                      (If you know that your child has already played a season under CMBA,
                          then the proof of age has already been done .  IF in doubt bring a proof of age. )

               3. Doctors phone number 

                4. Emergency contact person and phone number

                5. Alberta Health Care number
 

VOUNTEER REQUIREMENT:

Scorer/Timer: All parents are expected to take a turn as scorer/timer at one or more games .
 

Edgemont Basketball is run entirely by volunteers. It is required that each family sign up for at least 
one volunteer position. 

The following volunteer positions are available.

Coach / Assistant Coach :  Help to coach  a team your child plays on

Registration:  Assist with the registration for the following season

Team Manager:  Distribute and collect the teams uniforms.  Team phoning  / email to keep 
                                 the  team updated with game and practise times.
 

Age group coordinator: Help coaches get organized for evaluation and phone out to players.
                                             You will be the main contact between the coaches and the 
                                              executive, to keep the coaches updated on gym times, uniforms ,
                                              equipment  etc. 

Team wind-up: Organize and of season party for the team.

Casino: Help out in CMBA  or ECA casino.
