Matt Lams Height: 5'5 Weight: 155 Matt Lams originally made his HSFL debut in 1999. Lams saw little action in the 2000 season, and at the beginning of the 2001 season, his career was thought to be over. Lams made his return in week 5, a game that he was supposed to officiate and scored 3 touchdowns. Lams, the fastest HSFL player ever and one of the most althletic and strong of all time, has never really been given a fair shake by the league in his career. The problem is, he's too good. It's hard to find opposing players who can match his raw athletic ability, and that forces him to sit out several games that he could be playing in. Lams got an early jump on the 2002 season by playing in the Snow Bowl, scoring 5 touchdowns. The HSFL is reportedly looking to find players who can compete with Lams to play on a full-time basis. Lams may have proved enough to the league in 2001, especially with his loyalty, to make a strong case for the Hall of Fame in 2002. |
