About me
I started photography in 1969,
when I was 15 years old. At that time I was using my
Dad's Canon FT with 50mm lens. Soon I fell in love
with photography, and I got a second lens: 135 mm. I was
using photography as a documentary tools for my previous
hobby: fresh water aquarium fish and traveling around my
country, Indonesia.
In 1973 I joined the Candra Naya Photographic Society, Jakarta and compete in many National & International Salon Photo Contest. In 1978, I achieved the Associate from Royal Photographic Society in PICTORIAL section and soon followed by a degree of Artist Federasi Perkumpulan Senifoto Indonesia.
From 1978-1985 I became a
semi profesional photographers. Many of my 
works
published in several books such as BUNGA BANGSA Indonesia,
advertising, calendar, magazines, etc. I love to
capture pictorial and nature scenery. I love to
watch the first sunrays hit my subject, very
early in the morning. For me the nature also have it's own
mood: the form, the shadow, the quality of sunlight
filtered by the cloud, etc.
The days after 1985, I had lesser time to leisure, and I took my residency in dermatology (I am a medical doctor). Now I still make picture in my leisure time, especially during holiday. During my long experience in photography, I suggest new photographer using black & white picture, because it stay last. But in this digital era, no doubt that colour photography didn't fade away with time as before, as long as we save them in digital format.
My favorites
My favorites pictures are
outdoor nature . I love to capture pictorial and
nature 
scenery.
I love sunset as well sunrise and fullmoon. My
favorite camera are Canon's SLR. Sometimes
I am using my Hasselblad, Widelux and Old Bessa II. Now
(1999-2000) I am using my Canon EOS and my Sony PC3E digital
movie camera with still picture capability (640x480
pixels). I love my camera and my photography,
please enjoy it.....
