Grade Two:
Hello every-one! I am pleased to welcome you to my class this year. This is my fifth year at R M. Cook Elementary and I plan to have lots of fun. We will be learning a lot of new and exciting things this year. Have you ever wonder why it rains in the summer? Well this year you will find out in Science class, along with a lot more interesting facts about the weather. In Social Studies we will also look at some new cultures from different countries, so you will be able to see how other children around the world live and play. In Math we will learn about money, so you can spend your allowance wisely. Finally, in Language Arts we will continue on in your level one reader, and look at some new stories and fairytales. Which one is you favorite? There are also a lot of fun activities we will be doing in Physical Education like volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and different track and field events. It sounds like a lot of hard work, but I know you can do it. If you have any problems throughout the year, please don't hesitate to come and talk to me. This year is packed full of fun so I hope you are all ready.
