The Man that Mattered
Read about Reede, the man that mattered, of the village of Madder.
Reede was a man of greed and matter, who cared little for the people of Madder.
He thought he was a man that mattered, for his power in Madder made him matter.
It was known, that if a man of Madder killed the Dragon of Atter, much power would be obtained.
It came to pass that the man that mattered, of the village of Madder, wanted the power of the Dragon of Atter.
He knew he could defeat the Dragon of Atter, for he was a man that mattered.
The man that mattered, armed himself for the fight that mattered.
The man that mattered, found the cave of Atter and entered it in a matter of course.
There he stood, the man that mattered, in front of the Dragon of Atter.
``I have come to kill you for I'm a man that matters.''
``Little man, go away for I have little time for such matters.''
The man that mattered, drew his sword and attacked the Dragon of Atter.
In a matter of moments, the man that mattered was no more.
Though he was now a man that truly mattered, For the Dragon of Atter had new matter for the gardens of Atter. |
