30 students from different universities in the Colombian Caribbean coast were selected by the CRCT (Regional Commission of Science and Technology) to go to Jamaica as excange studetns, sponsored by several entities, as an effort for improve our English and promote integration with the Jamaican culture. We were taking a course o English as a foreign language in the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies, at Kingston-Jamaica. It lasted only 42 days, which built the best academic experience in life for most of us. Not only did we improve strongly our English, but also: we made many Colombian and Jamaican friends, we had the opportunity to live and study with such excellent group and at that great place that is the Mona campus, we knew many interesting places as tourists, we got in contact with the (exotic for us) Jamaican culture, we left a good impression of Colombian people and of course we had some beautiful vacations.

I thank the CRCT, the Colombian Vice-presidency, the ICFES and my University of Magdalena for making our trip possible, and also I thank all the people in Jamaica who taught us, guided us and took care of us during our staying in the island.

At the UWI's Main Library. Here we're with 10 teachers who came from Bogotá-Colombia and joined us to learn English as well. I'm the first one ahead in green.

That's one of the UWI's buses, which took us to everywhere in the Island. Eduardo is the one with his right hand up in the third row.

Beaches and more beaches, but all of them beautiful.

That's me, at the beach of the Dunns River in Ochorios. The Dunns descends over a giant coral until touching the sea. It's cool to bath in the sea and then climb the large Dunns falls.

More beaches. This picture was taken one day before leaving Jamaica.
