This is where Dane became famous, by feuding with legends such as Mike Bell and Byron Tanis, and even by feuding with new-age hero Michael Lennox. Dane has quit the NeWA and made a comeback, but recently retired formally after losing the World Title to Michael Lennox. Pacific Northwest Wrestling(defunct): Won the Oregon State Title and gave it away a week later to go after Jake Rockwell and defeat him for the PNW Heavyweight Title. Hardcore Championship Wrestling Federation: Won Alaska State Title within two weeks of joining. North Carolina Wrestling: Entered a tournament as "The Man Behind The Mask" and went on to win the NCW Heavyweight Title by defeating Adam Fierce in the Finals. Championship eWrestling from Florida(defunct): Long and bloody feud with longtime nemisis Michael Lennox, which eventually cost Dane the NeWA World Title to Byron Tanis. International Wrestling Alliance(defunct): Briefly feuded with Darrel Besolve and then NeWA World Champion Byron Tanis. Nightmare Wrestling Federation: Defeated Michael Lennox for second NeWA World Title reign, which was ended a month later by Lennox. Ohio Wrestling Coalition: Brief feuds with Cheshire and Kurt Swagger. National Wrestling Council: Dane has only ventured into the NWC once, where he was just about to break out on the National scene when contract negotiations went haywire, and Dane left the organization. He held the title for months before faking an injury to get out of his contract. He jobbed the title to Michael Lennox in order to leave WFWA.
