 In East Fishkill we live above the largest aquifer in the world. It is estimated that over eight billion gallons of water flow below this area. This aquifer supplies all of the ground water to Southern Dutchess County, and most of the ground water to Westchester & Putnam Counties. The State of Connecticut also receives it's water from this aquifer as does some of the New York City water system. Because our government officals, Federal, State, County, and Local have sold out their elected responsibilities for campaign contributions, we, the Concerned Residents of East Fishkill New York have been forced to bear the results of this treachery! Our mission, however, remains simple. We desire only: 1. Provide ongoing health screening for the residents & their offspring. 2. Obtain a workable solution for the contaminated wells. (filters or new wells). * Provide continuous monitoring of the water quality for as long as necessary. 5. Determine the scope of the contamination. 6. Identify the source of the contamination. 7. Devise a plan for the removal of the contamination. 8. Prosecute the contaminator to the full extent of the law. |
