Activities Committee
A tour of the Fire Station, pumpkins at Gro-More Farms, watching a calf
being born at the Coyne Dairy Farm, fun at the Strong Museum
these are
just a few of the fun things we've done with our kids the past year! Make
sure not to miss the new events on our calendar each month. We'd love to see
you there! Or, if you've ever thought that a place you take your kids would be
fun for other moms and kids, too, let us know! Contact or join the Activities
Committee! We would love to hear your ideas and can set up or help coordinate a
date with you for the event of your choosing. Call today!
Babysitting Coop
Looking for a friend to help out with babysitting once in awhile? Then this group
is for you. It meets once a month for a social gathering, so the moms and kids involved
get to know one another. Moms then trade babysitting "points" with no money changing hands.

Playgroups
Want to meet other moms with similar-aged kids? Then why not join
a playgroup! These informal gatherings meet once a week at members'
homes. It's a great way to meet new friends for kids and moms alike!
New playgroups are forming all the time, all year long. Don't hesitate
to call our coordinator to join in on the fun.
Srapbooking and Hobby Club
Don't have all your pictures in albums yet? Join us with your albums, knitting, needlepoint,
quilting, painting, stenciling, or other hobby. We meet at the local library once a month
for some quiet time to work our projects together. Participants bring their own supplies,
and this group is free and open to members and friends. Call us for more details.
Sunshine Committee
Having a baby? Do you know someone in The MOMS ClubŪ of Henrietta - East, NY who's expecting
soon? Then contact the Sunshine Committee! This group provides a meal
for new parents and growing families. Call us to set up a meal for someone,
or to volunteer your services as a meal provider.
Walking Club
Not getting enough exercise lately? Looking for more ways to get some exercise hours?
Join us for a brisk morning walk with the kids! Meet with us weekly or monthly or as
your schedule allows! Join us to meet at parks, neighborhoods, and malls. We'll be moving
along with strollers, baby-packs, and jogger-strollers getting in some calorie-burning and
energy-boosting strides. Call us for times and places or more info.
Welcoming Committee
Remember what it felt like to be a new member? Would you like to volunteer,
but just don't have a lot of time? This is the committee for you! We're looking
for "meeters & greeters" to help out at our monthly meetings. By volunteering you
can help hand out nametags, greet club members, and make sure that new club members
(and old ones) are not standing alone not knowing who to talk to. We're also looking
for "Big Sisters." Big sisters are assigned to new members. Volunteers offer to call
new members to remind them about an upcoming monthly meeting or event, and call just
to say, "Hey, I'm going to this. Do you want to meet me there? That'd be great!" Big
sisters help new members meet other people and feel a part of our club. Interested?
No additional meetings are necessary! Just call and we'll set you up!
