History of Dallas

I've been drawing since August of 1999. I think I started drawing because I spent the entire summer watching Toonami on Cartoon Network, and fell in love with anime, which led me to discover manga. Of course, I had drawn off and on throughout my entire life, but it was then that I got serious.

History of Skye

Well, my online personality Skye began with my first email address, skye3270a@yahoo.com. I've had that email address ever since I first began going online, which was at the very least 3 years ago. The name came from a story my mom (and me, sorta) wrote together, in which the lead character's name was Skye. I began using the name Skye in many screen names, and even on some online forms I filled out. I've even gotten spam in real mail sent to 'Skye Nagata'...Seventeen Magazine even sent Skye complimentary return address labels!

Once I got into drawing anime, I decided to draw my online personality. The result was this. That is the very first time Skye was ever drawn. I decided she sort of looked like a goddess, so I started calling myself the Goddess Skye. I just went with it after that. The Phoenix Goddess Skye is her 3rd or 4th incarnation, but is the first version to change her skin and eye colors, which were originally blue.

One Paragraph About Me In General

I love chocolate and sushi. My favorite classes are Japanese, Art, and Social Studies. I am a sophomore at King Kekaulike High School. I don't have a favorite anime show because I don't believe I've been exposed to enough anime to choose a favorite. Same goes with manga. (I really need to get out more ^_^;) My favorite colors come in the combinations of (Black, Blue, Silver) and (Red, Black, Gold). I like roses. And muffins. (Well, actually I just say I do, I don't know if I really like them since I haven't had one in years.)This is my dog, Jem, who sadly passed away earlier this year:
