Well, some of you may not know what manga is. So first I'll try to exlained it to those that haven't know.

Manga is comic book that came from Japan. Basically, they divided it into 2 kind. The first one is called Shonen, it is comic that storyline are meant for boys.The example are like Naruto, One Piece, or the famous Inuyasha.And the second are called Shoujo, this one are meant for girls (eventhough boys also read them). The story line ussually revolve around romantic things. In indonesia, they used to call it "Serial Cantik", books like mari-chan and Glass Mask (Topeng Kaca).

Actually, there is another kind of manga. The one that can be read by either boys and girls, it is called bishoujo. The example is like Doraemon, H2, and Ranma.

Okay, now my hobby is actually collecting scanlations And now you'll ask again.... what is scanlation....

Scanlation are shorts for "Scan anda Translation". It is Manga that have been Scanned into computer and translated into other language (english, or mandarin mostly). The one who Scanlate it are the fans of the manga it self. They did it without being paid. But usually the manga Scanlation stop after the manga got licensed (although sometimes you can still find and download them through MIRC).
