651. James Harvey HAYNIE
was born on 25 Jun 1856 in Tennessee. He died on 24 Aug 1934 in Brookline,
Greene County, Missouri and was buried in Yeakley Chapel Cemetery, Brookline,
Greene County, Missouri (Section A, row 8). When the 1910 Federal Census
for Greene County, Missouri, was taken, James was living with his nephew, Earl
Haynie. James was living with his nephew, Gordon Haynie, when the 1920 Federal
Census for Greene County, Missouri, was taken and he gave his age as 69 and
his place of birth as Missouri. James committed suicide by swallowing carbolic acid.
He was found dead in the barn on Gordon Haynie's farm.
He was married to Rossetta PATTEN (daughter of C. J. PATTEN) on
1 Dec 1882 in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri by J. H. Duncan. The father of the
bride, C. J. Patten, gave consent for the marriage.
