| F-Zero Review | ||||||||||||||||
| I tryed it out at a Zellars GBA demo and it was pretty cool. Even though I could not play it for long, I can tell you that is plays well with fast smooth animation and nice sound effects. I would have liked to see abit more to the graphics but its just fine as it is. The play control is another thing. Some of the vehicles handling is like butter on a waxed floor. The Fireball is one of them. When taking a turn slowly and tapping on the brakes, you'll still end up smacking up against the rails. By doing this your hovor craft will take damage causing you to slow down. Its too bad the Gameboy advance did not have an anilog joy stick to make racing a little easier. Okay, maybe I need alittle practice, but when playing the game for your first time, use the practice race first just to get handle on the controls. Besides that, F-Zero has alot of tracks and vehicles to offer. There are 4 race series with 5 courses in each. Pawn, Knight, Bishop, and Queen. You first start off with 15 tracks and 4 vehicles and unlock more as you progress. A max of 10 vehicles are in the game.I think the amount of courses F-Zero has to offer, it should keep you busy.
