About EKOVATA

In Lithuania for building warming is use ecology wool witch distinct of good thermal and steam isolation characteristics  - EKOVATA  witch is producing by Finland technologies in Lithuania .In the world it is started use at 1893th .  Germans call it “IZOFLOK” , Finns - “EKOVILA” ,Lithuanians-“EKOVATA” .EKOVATA – it is  wood fiber witch is impregnate by not drifting materials .Sustaining by Lithuanian Republic and foreign institute’s conclusions and experience we know that using EKOVATA we don’t need expensive steam isolation . It reduces constructional expenses and improve buildings running characteristics. Heating wooden constrictions by this thermal material we don’t need antiseptics, wood is protected from rotting , fungous diseases and gnawers, building protected from moulding and weting . EKOVATA aggravates fire penetration to buildings constructives . EKOVATA  has good sound isolation characteristics .

 

EKOVATA'S resistance for burrning

 

 

 

House at left is heated with cellulose wool and house at right is heated with glass wool . Houses were kindled at the same time over houses ceiling .House roof with was heated with glass wool burned in 17 minutes and another house roof witch was heated with cellulose wool even didn’t start to burn . Later house witch didn’t burn was delivered to children’s home .

 

What differences between EKOVATA and mineral wool (Parok , Izover , Rock Wool )

 

 

At this picture we see stone wool and glass wool bast . Looking from microscope to stone wool and glass wool we see shining glassy-stony all-in-one pile , witch easy pass wet , so heating buildings with stone wool and glass wool we need  put wet isolation sheet .

If do not use sheet at the winter warm with steam penetrate from inside , outside warm and steam condense , freeze and instead warm isolation material we get layer of ice . At defrost water leaks down under the floor and rots buildings construction .

 

 

In microdot we see close-grained EKOVATA structure . EKOVATA doesn’t collect wet , but difundate into the atmosphere . So like for wooden wall nobody uses steam isolation so and for EKOVATA  it is not necessary to use steam isolation sheet .

Heating in "glue" way 

Corrugated tinware ceilings are heated with EKOVATA in “glue” way in Raseiniai city .Advantages : good sound resistance and warm isolation . Heating is possible for all constructive surfaces ,this is cheap because we no need frame and extra decoration .

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heating in "wet" way

 

Installation EKOVATA in mechanical way into the walls , roofs , floor with 45 kg/m3 density it doesn’t become compressed . Heating floor and re-covers with hands , exit of EKOVATA is 1 m3 42-45 kg . Exploiting building in right way wool linger on of full value over 50 years .

 

 

 

Heating wooden building with EKOVATA , it protects wood from rot ,  gnawers and fungous . Doing decoration we do not need air gap or steam sheet .

 

Heating in "dry" way

3,5 years past after wall heating, with pneumatic hammers was beaked hole , however after big vibration EKOVATA wasn’t compressed at all . Air gaps , sags and splits between bricks were filled very good . It confirms Thermal Isolation Institute .

Waterproof

Damp of EKOVATA depends of it surroundings that means that damp of EKOVATA changes like and wood. When changes air damp value damp comes on top of EKOVATA layer, strings of EKOVATA conglutinate and make thin sheet, whitch do not let air to get inside of EKOVATA and that’s why heating buildings with EKOVATA it’s no need to use dump isollating sheet.

HYGIENIC

EKOVATA do not have dangerous materials for human health . It is known that boracic acid doesn’t steams , but boracic acid steams with steams of hot water at 100 degree of temperature .Temperature doesn’t rise so high in exploitation because of that boracic acid practically doesn’t steam .

SAFE

EKOVATA is hard flammable source of materials so it save wooden and metallic constructions of high temperatures and direct flame influence, this characteristic gives boron- boracic acid salt which are in EKOVATA and witch heated separate crystallization damp and slow oxygen access to flame place . It slows flame spreading and cools isolation layer . Thanks for boron's jugulars EKOVATA doesn’t burns and doesn’t fuse, but only smoulders. In case of fire EKOVATA doesn’t spread poisonous gas .
