Miyajima
Miyajima is known as one of the "three most beautiful" scenic spots in Japan. It is a small island, 25 minutes by train from Hiroshima that is worth visiting. We have to take ferry there and as we approach the island, we are greeted by the famous red Otorii gate standing in the water. On shore, a multitude of traditional and modern delights, ranging from quiet beaches on the other side of the island, where the deers are still wild, to the more heavily populated shrines, temples, aquarium, folklore museum, treasure house, 5 storey pagota and thousand mat hall are awaiting us. At first i was quite scared to see deers there due to the "unforgetable" experience in Nara but luckily those deers are very obedient compared to those in Nara.. However they will start to go near you if you are carrying papers.. Hmm.. deers in Miyajima eat papers.. There are many festivals held in Miyajima throughout the year.

Two very obedient deers behind me.. hehehe
