Background Info:
FFV was only released in America in 1999 for reasons
from Squaresoft that the game was "too complex" - Though
the game was extremely hard, westerners didn't give that much
support to the game after playing it in test-plays. FFV was
in Japan since 1992 so Square knew they had to provide a copy to
the U.S for their hardcore fans. In 1999, FFV was finally
released in the game Final Fantasy Anthology where FFV and FFVI
came in one. Though the game wasn't a total hit, it did very
well in the U.S. I wish we had seen it sooner.
Introduction:
Final Fantasy V is the story of the four "Great Dawn
Warriors". These four warriors defeated the greatest villain
in the world. After sealing him with the magical power of
the mysterious four crystals located all around the Earth that
they had obtained, they thought evil had been vanquished.
Some 3 decades later, suddenly the wind stops, a King by the name
of Tycoon goes to investigate but never comes back. As his
curious daughter goes as well to find her father, a meteor crashes
into the Earth and everything is shaken. Now, a small boy, freaked
out by the meteor jumps on his chocobo and rides to the crash site
only to find 2 injured people. Now as these three are united
by the simple factor of fate, they must now inspect all around
them to save the Earth. *Final Fantasy V.. begins - Have fun!*
