Hmmm ... actually there's surprisingly little here. It's not that I don't write, it's just that most of it is either terrible, unfinished or written on paper and not yet typed up. This last category accounts for the almost complete lack of original fiction -- my best stories are usually written iin one sitting on whatever is at hand (usually the back of my maths book). Hopefully one day I'll actually get around to typing them up.

FICTION

Bad Hair Day -- written in Grade 11, after a long quality drought. This one's something of an oddity; it's too old for teenagers and too young for adults, but I still get a kick out of Ms Whitlow.

Childish Play -- my most recent finished story, writteen after I read an article about bullying in primary schools.

Courtney's Butterfly -- A very short story (less than 600 words) written for an exam. It's not *that* great, but ... oh, just read it. It comes with a butterfly butterfuly animation.   Anyway, it got an A, so *someone* must have liked it.

Djinn and Tonic -- A short story set in a universe I'm currently expanding.  Even the most banal of lamps can hold a surprise.

Dodgy New Year's photos (2000/2001) -- It should be fairly-self explanatory.

NON-FICTION

Review: Babylon 5's "The Day of the Dead"

WannaB -- written after the launch of a new chicklet magazine.

An Untitled Rant About Mum Not Letting Me Watch Buffy -- fairly self explanatory.

Grrrl Stuff A random rant about some femme matters -- riot grrrls, feminists etc (Note: if you have strong feelings in favour of these, you are almost guaranteed to be pissed off by this. I wrote it at 5:30am.  Rash judgements and ill-considered opinions ahead.)

Waiting for Bardot: My non-encounter with the manufactured Australian pop group.

Home Brand Living: The truth about coming of age, moving out and developing a white goods fetish
