in Merida.... oooooooooooooooo

Merida welcomed this movie with open arms... NOT!

The locals biggest complaint was that they got dizzy watching the movie. Really. Second place was that it wasn't scary, there wasn't any witch!

"Te gustó la película?"

"Huay no, me mareó... Está malísima!"

"Cómo....?"

"Si hombre, ni te asusta, estaba esperando la bruja y nunca salió!"

All I can say is that:

a) it's a damn good thing that the movie wasn't shown to a test audience in Merida first, the people involved would have been somewhat discouraged; and

b) I liked the movie precisely because there were no witches, no special effects, no treacly Hollywood "I love you Blair" vomitable moments and the totally
convincing acting - it scared me!
