Healing: Understanding God's Love

For this reason, Jesus Christ Himself tells us in John 3:3 that "unless a man is born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God." This means that all of us, irrespective of our religious affiliations—Protestants, Baptists, Catholics, Moslems, Buddhists, etc.—must be "born again." You might ask, "How can this be?" Just like Nicodemus, this is the question so many people ask. But I would like to tell you the truth—we all need to be "born again." What we need to do is to humble ourselves before God and acknowledge that we cannot do anything without Him. We must admit our sins and shortcomings, ask for God's forgiveness, and forgive those who have done us wrong. We also need to forget what they have done against us, as well as our anger, bitterness and hatred towards them; let us accept Jesus Christ in our hearts as Lord and Savior. By doing these, we will be "born again" and have a new life in Christ.

We shall be able to acknowledge God's presence in our lives, experience His love for us, and have a personal relationship with Him.

We shall also receive God's promise in Acts 1:8, which says, "...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." With the Holy Spirit, we shall have the power to overcome our troubles in life, to turn away from our wrongdoings, and to live according to His Will. Thus, the peace of God will reign in our hearts and minds, and the blessings long prepared for us by God shall be ours.

Then, we can ask God for the desires of our hearts and believe that we will receive them, for it is written, "He Who did not spare His Own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:32). He has also promised, "And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it" (John 14:13-14). God will give us every good thing we ask for because of His great love for us.

Let us pray and claim His promise in Matthew 18:19 which says, "...if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in Heaven."

Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You and ask forgiveness for all my sins, as I forgive those who have sinned against me.

Jesus Christ, I believe You are the Son of God. You died on the Cross for my sins. Cleanse me with Your most Precious Blood. I open my heart and accept You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I can fully understand Your love for me and have the power to turn away from my wicked ways and live according to Your Will. Make me an instrument of Your love by sharing my life with others so that they may know that You are alive and in our midst today—ready to help us in times of trouble, supply all our needs, and love us despite our sinfulness.

In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I claim physical and spiritual healing and deliverance from the bondage of sin and vices. El Shaddai, I praise and thank you for Your love, goodness and faithfulness. Above all, thank you for my Salvation in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
