Scott Cunningham Mr Birbeck:      Saxon Palmer A Noel Coward Play Revived by Joe Mantello Roundabout Theater Company American Airlines Theater 7th and 42nd Street Feb previews, March 15-May 13, 2001 The theater is small, and the view is PERFECT!  You can see facial expressions from the second to last row and everything! Sigh.  I'm so upset it's over.  I know it didn't get the *best* press, and I know that Alan's off to go promote The Anniversary Party, but I really did love this show, and not just for him!.
	Ya know, everyone's been saying that Alan looks like Edward Norton on the Stagebill.  Hey, no problems here!  Someone said he looked like Ed during his SNL monologue, too.  What cracked me up though was hearing someone say that he looks like Steve from Blues Clues in his new headshot.  Ha!!!  That's definitely ways away from Paul Reubens.  Jennifer Ehle is lovely.  I like how she's not stick thin, but she still looks great! New Yorker--  I almost licked the screen when I saw him!! Time Out New York--  Yay!  I wasn't able to take a pic of the sign with this in the theater. The Advocate--  Typical, but hey...
