I had written to a friend, referring to her current situation as a curve in the road and that she would be back on the straight away real soon, and then you send this poem for me to share with her. *Emerging Courageous is making the most out of the difficulties in our lives...Some People start out in life with good looks, money, education, health, friends, family and good parents. But some of us have some of only one or two of these things. But the message that I take away with me after reading" Emerging Courageous" is that each and every person on earth at one time will face a situation in our life that we need to overcome. It could be the lost of a friend, the death of a parent, an addiction, an affliction, an emotion or as little as a bad day. But, we have one thing in common…The thing that everyone in “Emerging Courageous” has in common… that they have faced their problems.

I ask myself, how can I be the same person after reading all these stories? I can't. And thank you for letting me know me know that I am not in my thoughts alone.
