GOOD NEWS!

WANT TO SEE MILLENNIUM ON DVD!? OF COURSE YOU DO, OTHERWISE YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE! Fox has posted a web poll asking fans of Millennium (and other TV shows) to pick 5 shows from their list for possible release to DVD. Of course, our favourite show, Millennium is among them. Go to FOX TV DVD POLL. As of October 22, 2003, Millennium is doing pretty well, garnering close to 11% of the voting. SO GET OVER THERE AND HELP GET MILLENNIUM ON DVD!!!

As you all know by now, the Millennium/X-Files cross-over DID occur, but, I was, as I am sure most of you are, disappointed. It was not the ending for Millunnium for which I would have hoped. I plan on doing a review of the episode and posting it soon, once I get a chance to watch it again. Until then enjoy some new links below!

Welcome to my Millenium page! Unfortunatly, FOX Broadcasting has decided, after three seasons to pull Millennium off the air. If you do not agree with this, and would like to lodge a protest, you can write a letter (I have heard that it is said 1 letter equals 500 viewers, and that legible, hand-written ones receive a better response than typed) to FOX at: Millennium, C/O FOX Broadcasting Co., Box 900, Beverly Hills, CA, 90213-0900. You can also call the FOX corporate offices at (310) 369-1000 or (310) 3691828. You can also send a letter to Millennium's production company, Ten Thirteen (which also produces the X-Files and the new series Harsh Realm) at: Ten-Thirteen Productions, 10210 West Pico Blvd., Bulding 49, Los Angeles, CA, 90035, ATTENTION: Chris Carter. Their phone number is (310) 369-1130 and FAX is (310) 369-1308.

I was very dissappointed to hear this news, and I'm sure that those of you who visit this page aren't all that happy either. I have sent my own letter to FOX and plan to call FOX and Ten-Thirteen. I would like to see Millennium back on the air, as I felt it was one of the more intelligent programs on TV, where so many aren't. If anyone visting this page has heard any new developments, please use my email tag below and let me know. I do know that the FX network has exclusive rights to air the first three seasons of Millennium. As far as I know, the FX Network is only available in the USA, and NOT Canada. There is no word if any Canadian Networks or TV stations have expressed an interest in airing Millennium. More updates will follow regarding airtimes, etc. Also to be added are some interesting sites I have come across.

WHAT IS MILLENIUM?

Millenium is a new TV series from Chris Carter, creator of the X-Files. The main character of this new series is Frank Black(played by Lance Henriksen, of Aliens fame), a former FBI agent. Frank is now retired and works for a crime consulting group, known as the Millenium Group, which help police investigate crimes, specifically violent crimes. Frank has a special gift. At crime scenes or when examineing evidence, he get "flashes" of what actually happened during the crime. These lead him to clues to solve the crime. The main location of the show is in Seattle, Washington. Frank used to live there, and was a police officer until he joined the FBI. A recurring character, Bletcher, an old friend of Frank's, is still a detective with the Seattle PD. However, Bletcher met a tragic end in the episode LAMENTATION, at the hands of Lucy Butler. Frank lives with his wife, Kathryn (Meaghan Gallagher), a social services worker who sometimes is involved with Frank's work and his young daughter Jordan.

Recently, in the Episode, "THE BEGINNING AND THE END", Frank's wife is kidnapped by the Polaroid Man (played by Doug Hutchison, who appeared as Tooms in X-Files episodes "Squeeze" and "Tooms" and several episodes of "Space Above and Beyond"), who for years has been sending Frank pictures of his family, as a threat. Frank eventually finds the Polaroid Man, and in a fight with him, kills him. For the time being, Frank has left his home, as these events have created tension in his relationship with Katherine.
