Today was a day of accomplishments.

Late last night, I discovered, via an old letter from Carrot, a wonderful little organization called Book Crossing (see link at right). After some careful research, I signed up, registered two books, and released them into the wild this afternoon. So if you're looking to read Frankenstein or some shorts stories by Borges, I suggest you wander down the hall of Mac-Correy, pick up my books, read them, then release them again yourself. And if you don't want to read either of those books, by all means visti the site and look up your hometown. I'm sure there'll be something lovely for you to find on a walk tomorrow. I myself am planning to look for a book hidden in the Grad Club some night this week.

Another victory today took place in the International Center. That's right, I found out today that I got a spot on exchange next year. U of Edinburgh, here I come. I think I may show up a bit early for the term, though, so I can also check out Hogmanay on New Year's. What say you, Chel? Want to go back to Europe early and party with me?

My final accomplishment was getting back an essay. Actually, that wasn't much of an accomplishment. He said my argument was intreguing, but that some points were stronger than others. Yeah, well one of my fists is stronger than the other. Care to find out which, Mr. Snotty-TA?

I'm now working on an essay that is a day late and a thesis short. I will, unfortunately for you, keep you posted.
