Reading:

I don't really have much time just at the moment, but I wanted to mark the wonderful occasion of my successful manipulation of these foreign computer systems here in Edinburgh University Library by writing a short entry.

Several things of note:
- I arrived safely and only slightly groggy about two weeks ago
- everyone I've met is perfectly understandable, so no more jokes please
- I have a phone and an address, after so long of just living here in limbo
- all my classes are scheduled, and I'm now more in love than ever with Queen's internet-based registration
- I will have a flatmate by this evening, and a home phone and internet sometime in the near future
- roses! roses everywhere! and life is sweet and fragrant!

So, yes. Things are good. And it's once again good to be me.
