Photos of Plot Locations
Figure 1a.– Upon entering the gate, the Kendig burial plot is in the back left corner. The general area is easily identified by a black stone marker leaning to the right that is to the left and beyond the cluster of white marble markers that are in the center of the photo.

Figure 1b.– Past the cluster of marble markers are the gravestones for the Kindig plot (in the center of the photo to the left of the small American flag).

Figure 1c.– Looking east toward the fence, Henrich Kendig is to the left. His wife Maria (Groff) Kendig is marked by a flat black slate with the letters "M.K."

Figure 2a.– Brackbill Monument marking the grave of Harry G. Brackbill Jr., a descendent of Rev. Benedict Brackbill who immigrated to America in 1717 and is interred at the Strasburg Mennonite Church and Cemetery (the markers for Henrich and Maria Kendig can be seen in the background).
