Jamaica Journey Return Visit
The youth from the trip to Jamaica believe that bringing a
group to Erin Mills UC from Jamaica would be a great project. Here's why:
"We could exchange cultures, and share our own fellowships with them and
learn about theirs. We would be able to share our ways of living with them,
as they did with us."
"I would like the Jamaican youth to be able to travel: something they most likely
would not be able to do on their own. I would like them to come so we can
continue our spiritual relationship."
"We would exchange culture, and learn about Christ's love in work across the world."
"The Ridgemount youth could experience our culture. We can serve others in
this trip, both those from Jamaica and serve others in the community while
they are here."

"First of all, I want to see everyone again because I miss them a lot. I'd like
to show them how we live, and what our church is like. I want to share with them the way
they did with us."
"A return visit would be a chance to experience another way of worship. It will
be an eye-opening experience for them. They will remember it for the rest of their lives."
"We will expand our friendships, continue our faith journeys and continue to share our
faith stories. The return trip would continue the cultural exchange between our countries."

The trip would also benefit the congregation of Erin Mills UC. Here's some of the ways:
"A return visit would allow us as a congregation to see and share in the Jamaican's style
of worship by participating in a service together. We would definitely learn a lot from
them as they share their faith and viewpoints on Christian life."
"We can share God's love."
"We can be servants to the youth from Ridgemount. We can share the love of God and learn
different ways to draw closer to the Holy Spirit."
"Hopefully, the Jamaicans will participate in our worship, and will demonstrate
their own style for everyone. Their faith in God is very humbling and beneficial to
witness personally."
"The Jamaicans will get to meet a group of amazing youth who will tell them
about a different society. They will help to lead a service, and they will open the
eyes of the Canadian youth who were unable to travel to Jamaica to meet them."
"Through this opportunity to participate in an exchange, everyone involved will have
the chance to experience God's love through others."
"We will learn other ways to worship and learn of Jamaican ways. We will share
with others our faith and expressions of God's love."
