I've just started, but here's a little background on this site. I've been making websites for years now, and I created this initially so I could have a place to keep a weblog and allow those I know only online to be updated on my life, since I can at times be a slow email penpal.

But then I thought, why stop there? This isn't private, and isn't made to be private. You can visit whether or not you know me in real life, and I don't plan on displaying anything that I would be uncomfortable with anyone seeing and asking me about. So no, this is NOT some sort of diary (it's a WEBLOG) - this is just stuff.

However, as a sort of disclaimer, you (the visitor) must keep in mind that these are just thoughts. And usually really general thoughts, which are very fleeting and I usually do not want to get into discussions about stuff especially if I know you offline, because that's just annoying. On this site, specifically, I am choosing to ramble only about my thoughts on very general topics... I will likely never mention things I wouldn't talk to just anyone about. So enjoy, because anyone is welcome to browse, that means you.

Very basically, this is for those I know who I am not in contact with very often... and who have Internet access. This way you at least know I'm still alive, right?

As for the quotation up there beside the graphic, it was something I remember reading somewhere online that I really liked, so I took it and dumped it into the graphic.

The extreme pinkness of the layout here just came out while I made the layout; I haven't had a pink layout in almost two years, so this was something nice to revert back to. Today is Aug. 31, 2001 at 1:11 a.m. that I am typing this 'about' page, though I'll be modifying it whenver I feel the need to.
