~~~~ Starting with God, your greatest friend, going over to
your loving family and through all the wonderful people thats helped you through
your life!!!
~~~~ And, after God, the best person I've ever met is my
father! (Even if he IS invading my homepage...) You know my father pretty well,
probably read about my family, who I consider will always be my best friends ever,
let's go on to the non-relatives.
at the end of them are my really, really special friends that
I'll remember forever.
~ Melody Pixie ~ Melody shows me strength and unconciously
help me out a whole bunch. Teaching me to stand tall and brave in the storm. She
also teaches me to have fun when you can.
Just before we adopted the twin girls, we
found out that Melody's parents were being abusive to Mel and Carol. There was this awful dispute, but it ended with Carol and Melody being passed around to various families for awhile. Carol was eventually adopted to a family in town, Melody wasn't. It was scarey, at first, and saddening, and almost embarressing when she'd suddenly break into tears and say how secure she felt afterwards. And thank you, Melody, for being a great friend and standing
strong! I'll always be here for you!
Melody now lives with our family until she can afford her own place.
~ Krista ~ She and Melody are the ones that begged me into making the homepage.
Krista's really nice, but shy....On the 'Net though, she LOVES to make friends,
and is fun to talk with...I should know, I've been sitting in chatrooms with her enough to wonder exactly how much caffiene she's been drinking...She was a part of the Crazy Club we had in school...Krista's also the one who began to make this page and pushes us to get it updated.
Neddy ~ *Smiles* Neddy's a nice kid. He always faithfully
follows his dream. He's the reason for the Crazy Club I mentioned. The founder. Since 3rd grade, he'd wanted to make a club that would WORK. Not one that would break up really quickly or that would only let certain people in. Something organized. For two years, he had about 15 differnt clubs, none that worked. But Neddy never EVER gave up. Whenever he made the Crazy Club, we had problems, but he didn't give up on us or himself. I'm so proud of Neddy and what a great example he's been to me!
Thanks, Neddy! ~ Miranda ~ Oh, now! Miranda is worth talking about! She's
very intresting. I met her when I first moved here. She was very supportive for me. Whenever I moved here, I was
afraid people woundn't accept me because my family is so strict. Miranda was my first friend
ever. She kept saying how I'd fit in just great, and helped me adapt to the town.
She introduced me to new friends and, luckily, she was in all my classes except
one whenever school started, so she helped me out then too and kept away the teasing
and prejudice. I am SO grateful for Miranda! She even introduced us to a terrific
church. ~*Hugs*~ I am so lucky ! ~ Sellia ~ She used to live in the house
that we moved into. She moved to Texas and then moved back a few years later. She's SO friendly! Sellia was the co-leader of the Crazy Club because she was SO SUPPORTIVE of Neddy and was apart of all except like 2 of the clubs he made (one being an all boys club when they were little and one she couldn't be a part of because she was in Texas. Sellia isn't only supportive of Neddy, that seems to be her goal in life to tell people they CAN do things. She's SUCH an encourager! ~ My 1996/1997 (6th Grade) teacher, Ms Terry. She realized how hard it was
going for me. I am so thankful that Ms
Terry was so patient and helpful with me! See, not only was I going through a rough time, but I also had a speach impairment and the way I
speak is sometimes very annoying to teachers. Not to mention I'm forever getting words mixed up! Ms Terry helped me to understand more and she never quite gave up. Whenever I see her now, she's always really kind and asks just the right questions. I'm really thankful for Ms Terry!!!
